How to stay warm?
#11
Greetings,
Nothing cuts the wind like leather -- leather coat and leather chaps (motorcycle or horse style) really works. Snug fitting leather gloves are also good.
I have the fur-lined handlebar mitts -- they work fine but wind still finds my right thumb.
I have a bubble helmet with a face shield. It definitely helps but: (a) the wind sneaks into your neck, and (b) sometimes it fogs, though generally not if you're moving.
I also have wire mesh goggles that won't fog over because there is nothing to fog over.
