I emailed you the ignition & wiring sections..

 

I recently had my 1985 honda fourtrax 2x4 es recovered by the local pd after 2 weeks. they popped the ignition and cut all 4 wires. i have tried touching the wires together in different combinations and cant get anything. thought i could just put in a toggle switch. does anyone have the wiring diagram or have any secrets to get this thing up to par?

hey hondamechanic i'm new to this site but sounds like you know what your talking about can you please tell how to disconnect the safety switch on the clutch on a 2000 300ex.i have to pull it everytime i start it.its aggervating thanks didn't mean to cut in just didn't see where to send a pm to you thanks again

 

The clutch switch doesn't have it's own coupler , you will have to cut the wires (and join then) to get it to start without the lever ..

Hi All,

I also have a '01 TRX350 Rancher. Currently it won't start due to no spark. I've traced it back to the pulse generator not generating voltage, and have replaced the pulse generator. Unfortunately it did not fix the spark problem.

I have the manual and walked through the trouble shooting to no avail. I can get high voltage up to the coil with the coil disconnected, but get minimal voltage with the coil connected.

Any ideas?
