I have a 2001 Honda Recon ES with extremely low hours on it, the last few months it has been giving me a fit! sometimes it will start up and shift fine and other times it won't never shift in gear and u have to get the wrench out on it and put it in gear. Sometimes I will just be cruising along in 4th gear and the light indicator in 1st gear will start flashing while the 4th gear stays lit. Does anybody know what is causing this problem? ANy help would be greatly appreciated!!

 

there is a recall out for the angle sensor on the recons, check with a dealer to see if yours is included.

 

The angle bank sensor is only a recall on the 04's and current.
