removing a snapped bolt
#2
Squirt some penetrating oil on it and let it soak, then run to the auto parts store. I've had good luck with the spiral fluted type of bolt extractor. You could also pick up the right size reverse twist drill bit, in hopes that the drill biting on the broken bolt will be enough to back it out.
Take your time to get the hole drilled straight down the middle, and take your time with the extractor, turning it very slowly and apply pressure straight into the hole.
If that doesn't work, is there room to drill and tap the hole for the next size larger bolt?
