Default lifting an older 400 foreman

Hey! new here. I got question or 2 and maybe somebody out there can help. I have a 1996 400 foreman in excellant shape so I really don't want to do the obvious and trade up. So what I was wandering can a person convert this suspension on this quad to the same as on a 2002-2004 450es/s . I run into a couple on the trail and they seem to sit about 3 inches higher under the center. it looks like the rear shocks are just longer. the front a-arm mounts appear to be close, so could you replace the front or what ever else needs to be changed? Any input would help .

Thanks
