Will a coil off of a 200 three wheeler fit/work on a 185 3 wheeler? Thanks

i checked over at servicehonda.com's microfiche, and it appears to be the same number for an ATC200 and an ATC185.

How can I test my primary stator. Is the primary the top one or the bottom one under the magneto? Thanks Is it correct that the one for the lights can be bad and still not affect spark and running?

well, you'll need a service manual to find the specs, but using and ohm meter, test the wires at the connector outside the case, you're looking for a resistance value to be within the specs in the manual, if there no continuity it's bad. my buddy just had one go bad on his '82 atc200.
