I have had a 1987 250 fourtrax for over 5 years. Always started easy except when I had to replace the battery once. I haven't used it in over 8 months, other things came up. Now I can't get into neural to start it. I've tried changing gears and moving it and using the foot crank to get it loosen up and go into neutral. When I push down on the shifter I can feel it shift a couple of times and it acts like it is in a high gear. When I pull up a couple of times, I t feels like it is in low when I push it. It always pushes easier in reverse than forward. Any help would be greatly appreciated. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

 

stupid ? but is your battery dead again and won't allow you to crank it over at all try pop starting it and get her running
