Rubicon owners do not transport you ATV in gear!!
#1
I was at the dealiership today and he told me that he has had two Rubicons come in with broken transmissions. People are transporting them in gear. Apparently there is a pin in the transmissions that cannot handle the tension caused by stopping and starting while being transported. When transporting your Rubicon make sure it is in neutral. That is all for now.

Hey Bill
I think I should buy a ticket also. It is fairly obvious that the hondamatic tranny has a "minor" drawback (or design flaw), because in 11 years of hauling quads I have never heard of anyone hauling quads with the tranny in neutral nor have I heard that damaged was caused by hauling one in gear.
Just out of curiosty. In the Ruby owners manual, does it say anything such as "vehicule must be trailered with transmission in neutral or damage may occur"

Snowride,
Actually I have been hauling my ATVs[3 and 4 wheelers] since 1983 in gear and the parking brake set, never had a tranny problem yet with any ATV I've ever owned.
The so called experts also tell you not to power wash your ATVs,thats something else I've been doing since 83,again,no problems related to the power washer.
Im just SO lucky,
Bill
