I just got the letter in the mail from Honda about a "product update" campaign to replace the angle sensors on the 2004 and 2005 rancher ES's. It's similar to a recall, but it's only covered for a certain amount of time-in this case, august of 2008. Honda will replace the angle sensor for free, and reimburse for those that have paid for the repair with proof. just figured i'd let others know.

I bet I have changed a couple of hundred angle sensors in the past couple of years. I think all the ones I replace under this semi-recall I am going to keep and sell for like $5 a piece. Probably not legal but I don't care really.
