go with the raptor I hate polaris no offense just my opinion and they have had reliability issues ...but they are the worlds toughest atv haha go with the raptor

 

I don't think the 525 has hit the dealers yet. They are both going to be great trail bashers, the 700Raptor has already proven itself to be a quality product, while the initial Outlaws had some problems. Polaris is usually good about addressing issues and getting things fixed, but if I was to buy an Outlaw, I would wait for at least a few months to see how they are holding up.

thanks for the help!scooter86,i understand that the 525 outlaw is not out yet but it is coming out erly 2007 and my friend is getting a new bike in the summer.

I think the outlaw has a few things going for it....as a trail quad

1) The chain and rear sprocket are WAY off the ground

2)Independent Rear Suspension

3)An advanced engine on par with the best

4) It is lighter than the current pred. or outlaw

5) I want one

 

Yamaha cant compete against KTM. KTM has the best motorcross motors anywhere. You put a KTM motor in anything and nothing can compete.
