thinking of buying a new quad
yea, and i dont mind driving a full time 4x4 but 2wd adds much more fun, i think to it.. because you can powerslide, have lots of fun in the snow and when you want to you can attempt to go through some tough mud or something in 2wd and if you cant make it out you can switch into 4wd, also if the rancher 420 had powersteering, i wouldnt be talking about this right now because i think powersteering takes more of the challenge of offroading away....however i cant say im right, because ive never driven a quad with powersteering before...also do you ever hear of people putting small lift kits into rancher and would that increase the ground clearance at all?

i got a 01 rancher and the tar has been beaten out of it and it still goes like no tomorrow. i got 25" rawhides and thats the only mod and i can get through over 4' of water/mud without winching and it still runs when im done. probably not good for the air box though....

I saw an advertisement for the honda 420 in the "ontario farmer" newspaper, i cant find it anymore, it said it had efi, but maybe it said it had steering dampening (to reduce bumpsteer) and not powersteering.
What are you doing powersliding on a UTE anyway? thats dangerous, well it is if you have an eiger, if you powerslide turning left, the rigt-hand front end dips down and vice versa - it rolls really badly, feels like youre gonna tip
