Default thinking of buying a new quad

so im 15, 5 foot 9 only 135lbs but am physicaly fit and i have a 250 recon. i ride trails alot and doing hardcore things so i want to move up to a more powerfull 4x4 i was thinking mabye the 06 ranchers or a foreman(not sure what year) but i dont like the looks of the newe 07 ranchers because it has little suspension travel and is for work, i think id like something around 400cc, i know the newer foremans are like 500, any help would be great....also i am an expierienced rider, ive been riding almost everyday for a year and a half, and i actually just bought a plow
thanks, Tyler

Go test ride the ones you are interested in, and don't limit yourself to just a few models, ride everything the dealer has you think you might be interested in. Don't limit yourself to a particular brand, test ride different models and different brands. Then decide on what you want.

Not quite sure what you meant here??? You think the 07 Rancher is a work quad? Or, you don't prefer it because you need a work quad???? Little suspension???????

And, you are considering the Foreman 500, which is probably the ultimate work quad. So, I'm a little confused.......

I am betting that the 07 Rancher is going to be a pretty slick machine! If you can afford to buy new, don't rush and just wait to see what it is all about........

i dont need a work quad, what i think i mean is the newer 2007 ranchers are more for work and correct me if im wrong but it has shorter suspension travel then other quads...also i work hard for my money and i can afford to buy new.....also the older foremans, not sure what years, are 400cc and 450cc once again correct me if im wrong last but not least, i agree the new ranchers are nice, theyve got efi which is nice, one othe thing im not crazy about the new rancher is the new engine cover, i havnt actually seen one in person but pictures look like its part of the fenders which makes it a hassle when doing engine work

The 07 has more suspension travel than the 06.

Its a Honda. You never have to work on the engine.

The old Foreman 400 is absolutely a work utility. The 450 Foreman is a little more trail friendly, but still these are the quads that come to everybody's mind when one says "work" quad.

Maybe what you need is a used Rancher 350, if you are on a budget??? With a Warn 424, they are pretty nice machines.....
