I have a 2001 Honda Recon. Any recomendation on tires. I want something better in the mud however, I don't want to oversize the tires as I don't think there is alot of room for larger tires and I don't want to sacrafice any power.

i put ams swamp foxes on both of my 2005 recons, the only size difference was the rears are 1 inch wider. i love those tires they are great for muddy conditions, extreme rock crawling and general trail riding. they are a 6 ply directional radial tire with i believe to be an excellent ride

 

i just got mudlites....22x11x9....they're awsome in mud......dont lose any power....1 inch wider and a little bit bigger but they're awsome!!

 

How about the front tires? I noticed that alot of the tire companies with these rear tires don't offer the same height in the front tires. Will this make a handling diff.?

 

my front tires are the exact same size that came from the factory
