i think you will like this tire on your 450 this is the best tire i have ever had on a sport bike for my style of riding. i dont race . i just ride for fun and this tire is awsome for every thing . and the best in mud. they last a long time to. very long.

hey, thanks for being decent in your remark, not a d1ck like the first 2. I agree with gettin stuff muddy. the more mud the better. do you have any ideas on how to make one. I have a few ideas of my own, but I want to get more input from other heads. somebody might have a better idea than i do.

Maybe pick up a 400ex snorkel from ebay and try to copy the mounting location? You'd probably have to silly-cone it into the airbox after you cut a hole for it. My concern would be the amount of airflow you'd be restricting by only having it suck through that wimpy snorkel. I mean that snorkel restricts the 400ex enough, imagine how much power it would take away from a 450r... Maybe using two of them would provide enough air? I really don't know what a 450r looks like under the seat so sorry I can't help you more.

my bad trucker but If you are going mudding with a sport bike that is fine but if you are trying to submerge it then thats not very smart and you would be better off with a ute thats all I was saying...You would have to either get taller tires so you have more ground clearance and I would gear the bike lower or get yourself a snorkel

well, I DO like to ride in mud, but I'm NOT submerging it in water holes. the depest hole I've been in was only about 2 feet deep. It just sucks up the water from all the splashing I suppose. it has a custom airbox on it now that is very open to breath enough for the re-jet. I just need to get in more air and keep the water out.
