Default Case saver on a 06 450er?

Do I need to install a aftermarket case saver on my stock 450er? Do they come with one installed? Has anyone broke any chains on their 450r's? And if so, is there a specific brand that is better than all the rest?

Thanks
Nez

the stock 450r comes with a case saver...D.I.D and regina are good brand chains...what did you do knock the chain off? If you plan on getting a new chain the now is the time to inspect your sprockets because when one needs replacing so do the others.

No I didn't knock it off. The chain is fine. The bike isn't even broke in yet. I was just trying to think ahead and worry about it now, that way I have a piece of mind if it breaks. I ran a D.I.D. x-ring chain on my scrambler and loved it. Just trying to make sure when my 450 is broke in, I can beat on it i dont have to worry about things breaking.

Thanks
Nez
