I thought about making the ramps myself. But I have a tendency to over engineer things. I was a Dodge mech. for about 12yrs, and have a very well outfitted shop. Another limiting factor is the price of metal these days to build the ramps myself would cost more than a good set of store bought ramps. With that said. I purchase the Highland Large tri-fold ramp from Northern tool, $165.00, not to bad! they are very heavy duty. I think they will work great.
