Two of my friends had identical 97' Honda 300 2x4's. Both had 25" vampires. one of them has had a broke driveshaft once and a totally fried rear gear pumpkin once. on the other one it broke the front Ujoint on the drive shaft and it shattered the left case. can you say money$$$$$$$$. all becouse of the vamps.

In the old forum there were a few Foreman 400 owners that had Vampires. Within a year they were replacing bearings. You have to expet this though, they were made for 24 inch tires not 27 inch tires that weght twice as much. If you want to you can have the Vampires balanced, this will put alot less strain on the axles, U-joints, bearings, etc.

Shane West has a 1997 honda 300 4x4 with lift kit vampires and locker and he has had no big probs that I know of. Take care of anything and it will last.
