Default Dial a Jet

I need some input and advice about the "Dial a Jet". I have read some good and bad things. A buddy of mine recommended this over the dynojet kit that I was thinking of getting. Suggestions.....?

I've heard both good and bad on these forums. The good very easy to rejet if you need it, the bad was just people saying how often do you really rejet and so on. Check out their webpage and these articles. http://www.thunderproducts.com/dial_a_jet_atv.htm
I ordered mine yesterday should be here next week I will let you know how it works out.

thanks for the input. It would be nice if you could keep me posted on the process of your new purchase so I can get some more feedback. I did check out the website when I was first turned onto this product and of course most of the testimonials are all good. One big complaint that I have read on several different forums is that if you ride in muddy conditions, it will clog up easily. I guess we'll see. Thanks!

If I could do it all over again I would not buy the Dyno Jet Kit.... I bought it and a month later bought a new jet from the dealer... for only a few bucks and a new needle for only a few more...

Default Dial a Jet

Installed the dial a jet today took about 1 hour, I think if I was to do it again I would go ahead and remove the gas tank, aw well hindsight and all. Anyways damn I like that thing, easy to install, easy to adjust, and best of all the consistant power gain was worth the little extra I paid over a regular jet kit. I mounted it on top of the carb boot so all I have to do is take the seat off remove the snorkel boot and adjust prolly take 2 minutes. Now I live in Nor Cal and ride from sea level to about 9000 feet so this will really be nice for me. Hope this helps in your descision

The dial-a-jet is worth every penny. I snorkled my atv, and added the dial-a-jet, and the power gains are sweet
