Best investment I ever made for my 06 Rancher manual shift! It's more fun to drive, steers easier, and you will be able to break the back wheels loose in a turn if so inclined.
I ride in 2wd 95% of the time now and only go to 4wd when I absolutely have to have it.

best mod out there period, have close to 3000 miles on my 424 with no problems other then a lube job on the shift cable

 

Its worth every penny. It will change the way you ride.
