Default purchased 06 forman 500 es!

i'm loving it so far, hav't gotten to actually ride it, but what little i have, its awsome, got the es instead of the s, well because they didnt' have the s in stock. 6100 otd sound good for an 06 es?

break in? hammer down? or 20hr factory break in cycle?

20hrs then complete fluid change and valve alignment?

now i finaly got a quad down here in fl, i need some one to ride with? pm me or holler on here if u ride in fl, i'll travel cause there isn't anywhere around here. thanks all, looking forward to picking your brains on how to boost power, tires, and snorkell after my break in period.

All my recent machines have had the Motoman break-in method, and I have no regrets: http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm

I would do an engine oil and filter change early on, like at 1 or 2 hours. This will get any metal shavings out early on. Also, change the oil in your rear end an front diff. I changed the rear end on my new 420 at about 4 hours, and lots of metal flakes came out! Engine and front diff were clean as a whistle though.

Stick to petroleum oil during break-in, then you can switch to a synthetic if you wish. My favorite synth oil is Maxima Extra.

Adjust the valves at 20 hrs., like you said.
