Default 400EX-dealer price-is it good?

My dealer has a couple brand new 400EX 2005's, he wants 4900 out the door. Is this a good deal or would it better to get an 2007 for 5600 OTD. i know there isnt any difference in the machine, but I wondering about the resale value for the 2005. Should I keep looking or grab it?

Thanks

Skippy 1,
Depending on your location, $4,900 doesn't sound too bad to me for brand new quads. The only thing I can suggest if you haven't done so already is to check the prices of used ones in your area. That way you can get a sense of comparative value between used/new. However, even comparing the price you have to the reputed low price leader "SouthernHonda.com," reveals they have new '06s for $5,083. Therefore, your dealer's price is pretty good from my standpoint. I assume they are getting a little desparate to offload their old inventory, maybe you can talk them down to "$8,500 cash on the spot for two." Good luck!!
