Does anyone know who makes one, weight savings, price? Thanks ahead guys... I have been calculating power to weight ratios. I can beat a Raptor if I can shed weight it will benefit a motor build. The Raptor has a power to weight of 11.11lb:1hp
My 400 weighs 375 with 34 hp motor build thus power to weight is 11.02lb: 1 hp. It is a theory anyway... Any other weight saving ideas?

cut the fendrs, or get maier..

i read somewhere that pro's, or maybe it was cstark, strip down the entire quad and only put back on what is necessary.

mayeb a new clutch setup, get the parking brake out of there.

rims

aluminum/plastic parts instead of metal

other than that, the 400 is pretty light from stock.. like the plastic foot protectors weigh less than alloy nerfs...

I know AC had a aluminum sub-frame in the works. I dont know if they are available. Although I am not real impressed with the quality of AC products. That is about the only alum sub-frame that I know of. I would be interested in one too if I knew of another manufacturer.
