Just bought a 300 ex

How would you limit the power on this quad to someone who is just stepping off a 90cc and onto the 300ex?

Any help would be appreciated......thanks

 

What age, they use to useing a clutch? I would say just keep an eye on him and see if he respects it enough to go slow.

 

Hey im 14 and i got a 300ex last year a step up from my 90cc and i just took it slow and learned how to ride then i started doing wheelies and jumps i never got hurt. GET YOUR KID A CHEST PROTECTOR AND BOOTS!!!!!!!! i saved my ribs twice with wearing my chest protector. trust me its worth the 70 to 100 bucks. Now i got a TRX450R Honda and never got hurt on it because i just used my head. tell your kid to do the same and he'll be fine. if he doesnt listen threatin to sell it!! hahah

 

Theres got to be a way of rigging the reverse rev limiter on a switch. Theres a grey wire going to the reverse switch...just splice into the grey wire, and go thru a switch to ground. When you need a lower rpm limit, flip the switch, and when you want full power. flip it off. Plus, by leaving it hooked up, and just spliceing into it, it will still have the reverse limiter working when needed..switch on or off.
