UNI has foam air filters. The UNI's are two stage and flow better than stock.

I'm not sure if it makes sense to take the airbox lid off. There are sensors at the throat of the snorkle where it enters the airbox, and with the lid off they won't be measuring the proper air flow..........

I can't stay silent any longer. Are you kidding me! "water wetter"? Removing the air box lid? Some idiots just can't leave anything alone. They feel a deep need to "modify" everything. I bet you're the same type of guy that buys "performance water" for drinking during running etc. Why the hell don't you just leave the damn thing alone! I think the honda engineers know best.

Except for the air filter, I am pretty sure I am going to just leave mine stock, especially the muffler......I want to be quiet and stealthy! I might remap if I find that Honda has mapped it lean, to meet some emissions standard or something.

Not really performance, but K & N makes the oil filter. The part number is KN-113.

KN-113

The UNI air filter is NU-4119ST and is $22.95.

Does anyone use these? Are they worth buying?

That UNI number is WRONG! The filter from the 350 does not fit the 420.

I run UNI on everything. They are two stage, with an outer very course layer and an inner very fine layer. The stock filter is one piece and all very fine....and ironically the stock filters are also made by UNI. They flow better than stock, but need more frequent cleaning. If you are the type that neglects maintenance, then stick with the stock filters.

some idiots just leave things all stock and get passed on trails and drive mini vans that they hate to.....NOT ME if the engineers know how to make the most power than lets do away with all after market parts because according to you they are useless, and as far as watter wetter goes i run that stuff in all my vehicles it drops coolant temps about 10 degrees on a auto meter mech gauge. 00 camaro ss 366rwhp,87 buick grand national 525rwhp,03 dodge cummins td ho 700 lbs ft torque
YES i am very performace orianted. and NO i dont leave things alone i see things for what they could be.... think about that the next time you get passed??????.....................by the way florida is mostly flat ,its ***** out 4 and 5th gear and lots of mud on our trails....lead,follow or GET OUT THE WAY
