i got my 3ooEx out on an abandoned airstrip by my house and saw a polaris 500sportsman it really hauls for a utility and a polaris...but i killed it on the strip..and it has a speedodometer that goes up to 60mph so i say i did pretty good with only a k&n filter and carbcleaner and a lil octane boost for my carb that day...

 

I supose you could say you did good, but just beause the spedometer says it will go 60 does not mean you hit over 60 going down the strip when you killed it.Top speed for 300EX: 49.6MPH
Top speed for Sportsman: 47 MPH
