gas leak

i have a 01 recon and the gas leaks out of the carb overflow thing when it is just sitting there when i turn the gas on and the needle is not stuck it is in fine

Maybe something fell into your gas tank and is plugging the carb. I had a little piece of plastic stuck in my carb on the 450 that caused the same thing to happen. That's all I can think of. Hope that helps. Red

gas leak

make sure your float is working properly. you might of bent the tab taking it apart. try bending it back just a little bit. it should be even with your float bowl. hope this helps
