Smoking 250 ex
#1
Guys your help here would be deeply appreciated. I am trying to troubleshoot a 2005 250ex that has great compression (190) and I have just changed the valve seals and re-assembled the motor. Prior to my work there was a smoking problem upon acceleration. Now that I am done there was no smoking upon re-start and initial run. Then I changed the oil and the smoking started again. The engine runs real strong and I find it hard to believe the rings could be bad. This is a four stroke motor.
Any help will be appreciated.

Ryan, thanks for the input, I am going to take the head and cylinder to the local shop and have the guides changed and have the cylinder measured to see if I need to go oversized.
Thanks again, Superintendent
