Trailqueen,
I understand fully and love our Recon, in fact if the Warrior started giving me trouble, then I would be the first in line to look at the 400EX and also the Raptor since it has reverse. After having reverse on the Warrior, it would be hard to give up. I think both Honda and Yamaha make good products, it may be that one's experience with each product is the luck of the draw on if it was built on a Monday or a Friday. Lets ride!

OK BuddyBoy!! This is what I figured would happen. I figured you couldn't handle it. Nobody here was giving the Raptor a bad name. Thats the way you took it! Every machine has it problems and some have more than others. The only thing we were doing here in the HONDA forum was helping a person here on a decision. Anyways, who gives a crap about giving a raptor a bad name? I sure the hell don't!!! And I know YOU don't care about giving a 400ex a bad name either!! So, whats really your point??? Thanks

A 300ex isn't in the same category as the Raptor...The 300ex is with the Kawaski Mojave 250 or even the 350 Warrior. I never encountered a Mojave when I had my Warrior, but I ate 300ex's for lunch. Now that I have a Raptor, 400ex's are appetizers.
