Default new grease in Venom winch

Right now I have my front end on my 05 rubicon tore down, took the bumper off to do some to it and I had to take the winch off to. I was wondering while I had the winch off, I was thinking about putting some new grease inside of it. I have always heard you should put some marine grade grease in there. I just don't know how hard it is. I don't want to open it up and have a bunch of small pieces go everywhere.

Has anybody done this before and how hard is it? This is a Venom 3000 pound winch. How long would it take to complete the job? And is it worth it?

if you have the winch off already it should only take a few minutes, we ride in a lot of creeks and rocks and we services ours every few months , abuot twice a year and yes use marine grease
