I was wondering on the FST 330EX kit i was gonna put just use the kit and put it on my 250X because all the parts are the same. My question is what is the total cost of the kit and how high does the new piston bump up the compression? I dont want to run race fuel if i dont have to. Thanks, Dave

 

I am not sure of exact cc's but I believe the 80mm sleeve (330kit for the 300ex) would make the 250X somewhere around 290cc's. I am not sure of the FST price but I know the TC price for the cam,sleeve, and piston is $500. The cost os installing will vary with who you have do it. Some places charge about $100 to press out the old sleeve, bore the cylinders, and press in the new sleeve. The TC kit is available in a pump gas compatible 10.5:1 comp or I believe a 12:1 also.
