Default 400ex problem

hey all...ive got a 2003 400ex thats making some wierd noises..its a clunky sound....i know where its coming from but i dont know if its just bearings and seals or if it is the axle to.

heres what its doing : if i grab the wheeler by the grab bar and pull it left and right the brake disk will go back and forth and the axle seems to go back and forth in the swing arm....i planned on having a shop fix it but i was told it will take 2 weeks and i need it fixed by this weekend. do you guys know what it could be?. i would take it to a shop but the nearest one is 2 hours away and i dont feel like driving there just to find out whats wrong with it if i could just find out on here..thanks in advance for any help

It could be something as simple as the nut just needing to be tightened (the nut to the right of the brake disk). It could be shot bearings, or if you let it go to far the bearings and the carrier could be both shot ($$$$).
