250R pro peg nerfs on a 400EX?????

I just got a 2000 400EX and i want to buy nerf bars, i had Graydon prolines on my 300EX i liked them but i like the AC pro peg nerfs..but they dont make them for the 400 just the 250R, i know the 250R and 400EX are very similar so i was wondering if the 250R pro peg nerfs would bolt on the 400?

the 400ex nerfs don't fit on a R at least a 86/87 R
