I bought my bike in Febuary 07. When the bike came off the floor unlike the guy who didnt check is battery i rode it and made sure everything was working winch included. Well sometime in march i needed to use the winch. I let it out about 20 feet as needed and when i go to winch it in the in button would not work. So i ended up getting the bike out of the hole and home. The next day I intended to call the honda dealership. I said before i call let me check it. It was working???? So i didnt call and didnt think anything about it. First of may i was riding with some buddies and one of them got stuck. I pulled up to use my winch when NIETHER the in or out button works now. I think i have narrowed it down to the Sylenoid(SP).
Because i can hook the winch straight to the battery and it runs non stop.

Just wondering if honda is responsiable for this since i had them put it on before it left the dealership?

 

Honda will not cover it but the dealer that you bought it from should.
