I have a 01 300ex with exhaust and UNI Filter... I have been working to get it running after sitting for a year, needless to say the carb was gunked up with crap and I had to take it apart clean it from top to bottom. It now looks like new however it seems sluggish. I put the stock jetting back on however didnt have the factory settings so just guessed on the needle setting and fuel adjustment setting. NOW it will run however is a little sluggish, hesitates under full throttle and back fires on deceleration. WHAT ADJUSTMENTS DO YOU ALL RECCOMEND ?

Also I cant seem to get the idle just right... When its cold it idles good however once it starts running and gets hot it idles much to fast so I find my self adjusting the idle all the time to acomodate it . What is this ?

i have the same set up on my 93 but i have aftermarkets jets, when i i first put the carb on it was in idle for a sec then it started reving like yours i found that the throttle cable was to tight so maybea you should look at that or your jets are to small.
