I just purchased a 06 400ex and I am having a problem getting into reverse. I know it works becuase I saw my salesman use it and the guy that loaded into my truck. Unfortunately I dont have the owners manual for a reference to see what I am doing wrong. Can anyone help with the procedure to get into reverse? Thanks.

 

Shift into 1st, keep clutch lever in, turn & hold **** on right fender clockwise while shifting down again (below 1st) Now you should be in reverse.

To go forward, pull in clutch, stop, shift up from reverse, now you will be in 1st.
