Any Canadian Rubicons driving around?

I'm basing my "little difference" on 100-200 dollars.
I'd estimate tires, winch and insurance to be around $1200-$1300 difference.
That isn't the range in my area. Maybe where you live they are asking too much money. If it is 10,500 + tax then I'd say your right.
My comment was based on the scenario in my area.

Not sure. I've been waiting for over a year for the Rubicon for a reason... I wasn't interested in the other machines offered by the other manufactures. I was almost ready to settle on the grizzly, but then I heard rumors of a new Honda coming out... so I decided to wait. I expect that the other manufactures prices are fairly close to what they cost where you live though.

Here in Whitehorse they're asking $7995 for an Arctic Cat 500 manual WITH a Warn winch, including mount and roller fairlead, installed. Honda wants $10,500 for the Rubi, as-is, no winch. That's more than just paying a little extra for a better machine. That's a rip-off.

At $10,500 + tax .... I'd have to agree. That is excessive; however, as someone pointed out in another post $6,999US * 1.5 % exchange = $10,498 Canadian. I believe their were several US dealers demanding the full retail price as well when they first came out. I fully expect the price will come down in 6-10 months. Until then, I think were going to have to put up with the high price. Maybe check the price at the next closest dealership. If you have a truck, a weekend trip to another dealer might be cost justified.

I have a Rubicon that I paid $6199 for brand new. I did pay sales tax on top of that, but I know where you can get one for the same price without paying sales tax. I just didn't want to make the drive and besides I like having a local dealer on my side in case of a service concern. I haggled with 5 dealers within 45 minutes of my house and ended up with the best price about 30 minutes away. Oddly enough a riding buddy tried to go down to the same dealer on Jan 2 ( I bought mine on Dec. 29th, last day of the year for this particular dealer) and they would not match the price. He bought his for $6399. Still a good deal I thought. They also threw in an accessory for free that was about $65 retail. They didn't throw in anything for me, I couldn't even get the gas tank filled for free!

I have read many posts that people are buying there new Sportsmans for $6300 U.S so that proves the two machines are selling at the same price. When you buy your new Canadian Rubicon for $1200 more than a Sportsman 500 here, don't tell me the Honda dealer is not laughing at you when you go out the door.
