I took the carb apart again and cleaned everything for the second time. This time I learned the starter jet had a tiny pinhole that was plugged. I did not even realize it had a hole the first time. Readjusted the float and a few other things and put her back together. Started immediately and is running extremely well. I was surprised since it has not been run in three years having sat in rain, freezes and hot summers. After 12 years of neglect, she is back in action. The whole process was very rewarding, particularly since I have never taken a carb apart. The tech tips in this site was my guide.
