It's that time again, time to get a new chain and sprocket. I thinking about getting the new QSL-2000 sprocket, and the gold series chain I think the total is somewhere around $170. I just wanted to see if anyone has any experience with sidewinder to see if it is worth the $170.00."most" Comments are appreciated.

I asked the same question in the Polaris forum, and every reply was a negative one. Every person stated that they had trouble with the sprockets, and Sidewinder would not stand behind them.

Just because they're automatics, they still have sprockets and chains, except for the bigger utility models. I read the advertisements for Sidewinder, and asked people in the Polaris forum about them. No one had anything good to say about them.

i relize that the polaris has chains and sprockets,we have 2 polarises. i just thought that maybe the sprockets would wear diff. if they were on autos, sorry for any confusion. i do know that different people get different results. my friend has a sidewinder on his 300ex and has had no prob with it.

Sidewinder products are a little better(not much) than RK,DID...etc But their salesmen will try their best to screw you.First with the price then the warranty.

If you can get their stuff for a decent price its worth it.They will quote you a sky high price when you first call them.
