Can someone help me please??? I have a problem with my odyessey, It starts fine, idles fine, goes for a min.. then just bogs when it comes time to hit the pipe??
I've messed with the jets in the carb but nothing seems to help... Any Idea's???

 

hav u tryed running it w/ the carb half way shut nd not fully open

 

yeah i tried that, i got it up on jack stands right now and if i ease into the throttle once i hit like 2 grand it just wont rev any higher

 

then maybe check ur idle it might be to low and not geting enough gas

 

there is two screws on the carb, one is like a thumb screw with a spring on it and the other is a tiny gold one, i was messin with them, do you know where they are supposed to be??

 

no but maybe u can find the factory settings in an owners manuel

 

i am having the exact problem with my 1988 trx300fw, it will run fine but when u hit the throttle it will bog down and go dead, but if i find out what is wrong with it i will tell u.

 

I figured it out last night!! there is a reverse rev limiter on the tranny. well the wires were all corrodid so i hooked them back up and it rips *** now!!!but thanks for trying....
