What is hondas plan for the honda recon for 2008??? I got a magazine today with hondas 2008 line up and the recon was not even mentioned? are they not going to make a 2008 recon? well if someone could fill me in that would be great.

The rest of the 2008 ATV lineup will be announced when they unveil them at the dealer show next month.
The Recon will be announced then,...or its replacement,...or new decals,...or new color,...etc,etc. Have to wait and see.

 

Not sure what they can do to the Recon???? It is darn near perfect already! Don't think that little engine could support 4wd. Don't think it needs power steering either. Who knows????

The Rancher isn't listed as an 08 either. I am speculating that it will get power steering (???) as an option. The Rancher is a great value for the price, and power steering is going to bump it up to where it isn't going to be as attractive to the average buyer anymore....

400EX isn't on the list anymore either. Speculating that it might get fuel injection????

 

Are they still without speedometer and trip meter?
that would be cool in my book. there has been times I wish it had a ball hitch rcvr.
oh well it is a time tested machine that many folks love.

My little brother just bought a 07 Recon. We agreed that it needs Auto shift and a speedometer, also lighten the throttle spring that is twice as hard to pull as a Rubicon.
