Carb Problems
#1
On my 1999 Xr100, it runs perfect while I am driving and it is on the top end, but from an idle there is a bog in the bottom end no matter how slow I twist the throttle. I cleaned the carb out and blew the jets out, could this have anything to do with the jets? Or Float Measurement? How could i try fix this? Thanks!

First to adjust the pilot screw Honda recommends a tachometer with graduations of 50 rpm or smaller that will accurately indicate 50 rpm change (the tach I have is a Fluke 88 Automotive which measures graduations of 1 rpm) ..
If you want to read the fuel section from the 1988-00 XR100 Honda PDF shop manual post or PM your email address and I will email it to you ...
The XR80 had a flutter in the throttle just above idle and it was VERY hard to take that flutter out .. I'm trying to remember the 99 XR100 throttle response but right now I can't .. It may come to me later tonight .. LOL .. It's been a little while since I've driven a late 90's XR100 ...

mmmm yes... the Idle drop procedure.
I think all the small bore bike like that had terrible throttle response.
Takes a bit of tweaking to get it out.
I forgot to mention... I have saw those with a tight intake valve that results in hard starting and sluggish throttle response.
