OK all you men out there, let's hear your opinion about us!!

Thanks for all the replies! The topic is not to spark any sort of male/female gender wars. I know that myself and other female riders are curious as to how men think of female riders. This topic is not a trap; for instance, when you guys hear that someone new is riding with your usual group and he is bringing his wife with him, do you guys think anything of it? Do you assume that you'll not have as much fun, or does it not matter? Again, this topic is purely for my curiousity. I'm not a feminist looking to make men the bad guys-all I want to know is if riding with women affects you, good or bad.
I know gender really has nothing to do with ability or desire. I do think that men generally are stronger riders; however, there are some exceptions to that rule. By stronger, I mean possesing more physical strength. I've ridden with many guys that COULD NOT ride at all. I like to think we all learn and grow everytime we ride. I know I do, and so does my husband. We are stronger, more skilled riders because we ride with such a wide variety of people; skillful, cautious, crazy, fast, slow, mud maniacs, hill maniacs, and those that just plain make me watch in awe and pray that some day I'll be that good.

There is nothing wrong with girls, ladies, and women riding ATV's. I enjoy riding with all three. I love it even more when you pull onto the starting gate, and they holeshot you. Makes me want to ride harder, faster, and longer....ooops got a little off the subject. Anyway, I love that the female species is taking to the sport.

I think it is absolutely great that women ride quads. Especially the ones who are fast. I ran a 4 hour cross country endurance race this fall against a woman on a 400ex. She was about 5'4" tall and weighed about 115lbs with all her gear on. She gave me a run for my money. Only one thing could be greater than a chick on a quad and that is if she were my wife. Salute to all the women who ride quads.

Well, I figured I'd post my 2 cents worth. Females that ride are 100% bad ***!!! It doesn't matter what there abilities are either. If they make the attempt to get out and ride thats good enough for me. Oh yeah, I have been roosted bad by a girl before, I will admit it. Ride on ladies.

Being a self recognized expert in the observation of human behavior, and also an expert in the observation of women, I offer the following: My day to day riding offers absolutly no women. Being fortunate enough to attend the Silver Country ATV festival in Wallace, Idaho there were many women riders, but only a few that could be considered really hard core, willing to eat the dust, would die rather then hold the crowd up, and just all around good riders. As a rule the girls just don't want the dust. Those that did had riding experience on bikes before quads, or were affiliated with racing. My favorites though were the husky ones, that generally rode Blasters, rode because they loved it and because their men loved to ride also. I learned also they do not appreciate being dusted off. Ha!

I like the female riders out there. They have as much right to the trails as anyone else, and seem to be as good of riders as the men with similar experience and rarely ride beyond their skill level. Most importantly, when they pass you on the trail, they usually say something like 'I hope you didn't eat TOO much dust back there' rather than 'It was about time you got outa my way'. As a general rule they also razz a person less when they get stuck, or lost, or run out of gas, etc.
