Angelon400ex--- I was talking about your pics. of brown mtn.

I have not been to Uwharrie due to the fact I got my rancher 4x2 right before deer hunting season and have been hunting every weekend and not had a chance to due much else. I'm trying to plan up a trip with a couple of buddies but don't know where would be the best place to go. Any suggestions?? Please? My friends and I are all proficient riders w/ utility quads, looking for some mud, hills, and fun!!

It's sound like you are a true atv fanatic !!! That's awesome !! You must really love to ride to go out and brave the elements, especially WV this time of year. I would be interested to find out about that place that is less than an hour away, also about the place in charleston, due to the fact we have some friends that live down there. In your opinion, when everything is open, where is the best place to ride with a couple of friends that is easy to get to, challenging, w/ mud, hills, creeks, etc.?

TrailMix-Have you checked out Bull Gap near Mio?
There are some awesome women riders there. There was one lady that was beating the snot out of all the guys with a banshee. She wasn't much smaller, just a better rider than most of the men.

Lilgirlblue, I haven't been to any of the trails in that area of the state. I mostly ride at Silver Lake dunes or the trails near Baldwin. Maybe this summer I'll check that Bull Gap place out; I see that the DNR map says it's 117 miles long!

I've seen some women at the Little O trail near Baldwin- well more like they saw me. I was changing into my riding pants in the parking lot before I realized there were two ladies taking a break. I heard some snickering behind me and turned around to see them sitting there in their lawn chairs. They left shortly after that so I didn't do any riding with them.

Hey Trailmix-check out:
http://michiganatv.com
In there you will find everything you need to know about where to ride in our great state of Michigan. Without it, I would never have realized how wonderful our state parks are. Have fun.
