06 trx400AT shifting problem only in D
#22
Everything good, except for racing.
The Mini sprint has given us nothing but trouble, electrical, tail tank bladder, electric fuel pumps etc....
Like the old saying goes, "If it is not one thing , it's another"
That is why I have not been around here. Busy working on the new chassis

I just hope this info helps you guys.
If you are ever around, pay me a visit. I am at a Honda Powerhouse dealership in Mandan ND. Across the river from our state capital of Bismarck.

We are having the same problem with our 2005 Honda RancherAT 400. It has been going on for a year. Runs fine in electric shift. Sometimes it feels like it starts out in a high gear. Other times it starts out okay then all of the sudden you lose power ( like pushing the clutch in on a car). We cant get our local Honda Dealer to do anything about it. We are going to pick it up today, it has been there for 2 weeks this time. They say they cant get it to do anything wrong. The only place they have drove it is in their flat parking lot. We took it earier this spring to have the recall (tie rods) replaced and told them it had the problem then, they just set it home and said ride it. It is a lot worse now, we are gonna take it another dealer out of town and take a copy of this forum with us and see if it helps. We are trying to get it fixed before the warranty runs out. Thanks all!
