Default Rincon crash

Today I was riding my 2003 Rincon and hit a ditch too hard and broke the piece that the upper A-arm connects to. I am not sure what it is called. I have been looking for the part online and cant find it. I wanted to get an idea of what it is going to cost to see if it will be worthwhile to subit an insurance claim. It also ripped the boot off the CV joint. Can the boot be replaced?

You can go to someplace like Ronnies and look up the parts microfiche. Once you find the part you need you can shop around for pricing. The dealer is the last place I'd go. You'll find it cheaper elsewhere.

Did you break the mount on the frame? Like you are going to have to weld a new one on??? Or, did you break the a-arm itself???

I found the part on the miocofiche. It is the knuckle. The top of the knuckel broke, and then the spring pushed the A-arm into CV boot and ripped it. I got a new knuckel, boot, boot clamps and shipping for $130. Way cheaper than I thought it would be. My deductable is $500 so my insurance company wont be helping. Has anyone the front end apart? It doesnt look too dificult from the diagrams. Famous last words!
