cant find the filter anybody out there help me, i dont have the owners manual.

 

Right below the dipstick! Rounded cap with three bolts holding it. Be absolutely sure that you get the new filter in the right direction! The black gasket on the filter faces out, and fits over a nipple that is on the cap. Spring is inside to hold gasget tight against nipple.

Don't forget to change out the lube in the differential and final drives as well.

I cringe every time we get one of these "I don't have an owner's manual" posts. If the previous owner doesn't even have the manual...just what kind of attention do you really think they gave to preventative maintenence??? Buyers beware!

Do a valve adjustment too!

 

Thanks for the reply, I bought it from my dad, when it was 2 yrs old and he only used it for ice fishing off his house, I lost the owners manual , moving, lost a bunch of records.
