I'm looking to get my son some better tires on his '07 TRX250EX as a Christmas Present. The stock balloon tires seem to really limit cornering on the bike, and the Maxxis Razr 2's I have on my Polaris Predator seem to be just the ticket. Thats the tire I want to use.

I'm looking on Rocky Mountain ATV's site at Tire and Wheel packages, and see there are several sizes to choose for both the front and rear. For those of you that have made this mod, what sizes did you go with and why? The tendency of course, is to put the widest possible ont he back, but then I'm thinking that with a 14 HP engine, thats just increasing drag.

Choices on the front seem to be 1", or 2" or 3" larger in diameter than in the back. How does that affect handling?

He uses his bike 60% trails, 40% on the MX track.

Razr 2's on my 400 and that's what is going on the 250. I will just go with stock sizes.
