Default honda spark problem

Hi
Im new to the forum but ive been looking at it for quite a while.

My problem is I have a 84 honda 200es that i rebuilt the engine and afterward ran great for a while, but then lost spark. Ive since replaced the coil and the stator. I also bought a cdi online that didnt make any difference. I also got a pulser from a buddy and switched it out but still no luck. Also the wiring is in good shape. I get one or two sparks when i start cranking and then nothing. Im at a loss im not sure what to do next. I get voltage off the stator, the coil is new, and the pulser checked out between 20 and 30 ohms. So i just dont get it. If someone can give me a hint id appreciate it thanks.

Default honda spark problem

update: I did the ohms test on the cdi that i have per the specs posted on another topic, and my cdi failed the test. Or at least im pretty sure it failed. Is there anyone that could let me borrow a good cdi to test it and see if thats whats wrong before i go and buy one. Im in Homewood Illinois. The number on the cdi is 969
