2003 Honda 400EX: UPGRADES/MODS

Default 2003 Honda 400EX: UPGRADES/MODS

Any idea? I do not want to mess with the <u>exhaust</u> or <u>engine</u>!!
These are what I plan on getting:

    The items I have that would effect the preformace include:


      Any other suggesions would be <u>highly</u> appreciated!!

      You don't want to mess with the exhaust but you plan on getting a header and tip????

      Default 2003 Honda 400EX: UPGRADES/MODS

      as far as the sprocket I assume your talking about the front sprocket, since you have a 12t and are going to a 14t. What kind of performance are you looking to gain? Low end or top end?

      If you want low end stick with the 12t if you want top end go with a 13 or 14. the 13 would probably be easier on it.

      Dropping the size of the rear tires will raise your speed.

      if u drop the size of ur rear tires u will lose top speed and gain acceleration..... thats wat i would do as far as the tire situation..

              Cuz i cant.. i am 13 and of course I have to listen to my fater.. UGH! and I know it sounds lame.. just 4get bout it..

              The tip to make it deeper and about 2HP and the header for about 3-4HP plus -2DB

              I want a good equal.. not to much of eigher cuz I want lots of top but lots of bottom but I am finding that, that may be impossible..

              without going into the motor or changing the exhaust I dont think you will add lots of top and bottom end at the same time.

              I think if you add the head pipe, and the exhaust tip you will be lucky to see 1-2 hp total but the problem is you will still have the stock restrictive muffler on it.

              I would go with the tires for the drop in top speed as aaron said for the added acceleration.
