Big Red No Spark! H E L P
#1
I am new to the forum.. hang in with me..
I bought a 1984 Big Red 200es ...I get "1" spark from the plug when I turn it over. I have checked the coil and per the manual it checkes out.. I have checked the Stator/alternator and I get voltage.. I am new to the volt meter so am am assuming that somthing is good around 7-10 volts when turning over wothout the plug in the engine. I get 30ohms from the Pulse Regulator... assuming that that is fine...
The CDI failed.. Now I know that it says to use a "special tool" but 1 out of the 6 passed on the test out of the manual.. again I am new to the volt meter.. should I assume that I need to replace the cdi?$$
I dont understand why I get one spark.. Should I try a different plug (I doubt that would be it).... Any feed back would be great..
